WellAdvantage Health Center

"My advice to someone starting on a wellness journey is even though you have an "oops" during a meal, don't let it ruin your day. Get back on track with your next meal or snack." Jennifer Pedginski

Q: Why are we being provided with healthcare services?
We know that part of having a good life is having good health. The WellAdvantage Health Center and its staff will help you achieve your optimum health and wellbeing while also helping the City of Chattanooga limit the impact of inflationary healthcare costs.
The cost of poor health is significant on both a personal and a business level. This benefit is designed to provide access to high quality care, help you better understand your own health, and provide you with the tools you need to address any areas of concern.

Q: Why would I use the Center instead of my family doctor?
There are several benefits of visiting the Center, including:

  • Time: Little or no waiting most appointments are complete in about 20 minutes, unless your appointment is for a one-time Comprehensive Health Review

  • Cost: No cost for visiting the Center, healthcare and coaching services are free.

  • Convenience: Fast access to medical care for diagnosis and treatment of illness or injury

  • Efficiency: Ability to see the doctor or nurse practitioner  with little or no wait time

Q: Who is eligible to use the Center?
All employees, retirees, and their dependents (age 2 and older) on the City health insurance plan are eligible to receive services at the Center.
